Congratulations to Zara Dolan who was the winner of the Merit Award for Printmaking with the New Zealand Painting and Printmaking Awards 2024, presented by the Waikato Society of Arts.
This award attracts high numbers of artist entries from across the motu and further afield. The two main awards are $15,000 each, with the merit awards paying $2,000 each.
Judges Kura Te Waru-Rewiri and Marian Maguire selected 62 finalists for the 2024 show. All 62 artworks are on display at Artpost Galleries — 120 Victoria Street, Hamilton — Fri 12 Apr – Sun 5 May 2024. Two artist panel talks will take place on Sat 20th and Sat 27th April, 10.30am.
