Planning and funding an art collection takes strategy and insight. Learn from the best with a public talk, followed by a Q & A, with two leading experts in the field.

Leigh Melville is a Director of the industry-leading art auction house Art + Object as well as Chair of the Patrons of New Zealand at the Venice Biennale. Leigh's specialised industry knowledge of the New Zealand art market is matched by her passion for collecting contemporary New Zealand paintings, photography and glass.

Sonja Hawkins is a founding partner of interest-free art loans business, MyArt. MyArt has a unique approach that helps to make starting an art collection easy. Sonja is an avid collector herself and offers some tips on how to build a strong collection.

Join us at the gallery to hear these two inspirational women, at 11am, Saturday 28th October.
