Shape of a Circle

In 'Shape of a Circle' Kāryn Taylor continues to explore ideas around geometry. She is interested in the notion that it can hold an influencing resonance along with it’s ability to describe the intrinsic order of the universe.

Taylor takes the square and the circle as her building blocks for a new encoding of space and time. The square is thought to be representative of the earth, the physical world, matter and the masculine. The circle represents creation and unity, oneness and the female.

It is said that the circle and the square contain 360º of all truths; Taylor takes these elements, these truths, and sets out to explore alternate descriptions of our multidimensional universe.
