For the 2025 edition of Sydney Contemporary art fair the Sanderson team were honoured to be dressed by Kowtow Clothing.
‘Kowtow is more than clothing, it’s a statement of respect for people and planet.’
Founded in 2006 in Pōneke Wellington, Kowtow has always focussed on thoughtful design and slow fashion. Every garment is plastic-free and made from Fairtrade organic cotton, with a fully traceable supply chain. They are proudly Fairtrade, Global Organic Textile Standard and B Corp certified. With a commitment to circular design and ethical manufacturing.
At Sydney Contemporary the Sanderson team wore KowTow’s new season ‘Together in the Making’. Director of Sanderson Lydia Cowpertwait was dressed in the ‘Utility’ jeans and jacket, Exhibition Manager Si Rong wore the black ‘Study’ dress and Assistant Georgie wore the ‘Racer Back’ dress in Fluro yellow.
Kowtow clothing is famously comfortable, beautifully designed, and New Zealand-owned. Their fabrics are intentional and considered, using natural fibres and soft organic cottons that make you feel confident and beautiful.
Thank you, Kowtow, for dressing us, and for continuing to lead the way in how fashion can look, feel, and function in the world today.
