Sanderson are pleased to present their annual Emerging Artists exhibition for 2025, showcasing works by recent graduates from Auckland University of Technology, Elam School of Fine Arts, Massey University Te Kunenga Ki Purehuroa and Whitecliffe College of Art and Design.
The exhibition is curated by Li Si Rong and features work by Sally Barron, Emily Brown, Kaia Waite (Ngāpuhi, Ngāi Tahu), Hope Manaakitia Korewha (Ngāpuhi, Hokianga) and Coco Coleman.
Providing a platform for five women artists and recent graduates, the exhibition highlights a selection of creative voices that are shaping emerging art in Aotearoa today. It offers a deeper understanding of their individual practices and perspectives on contemporary issues, while fostering opportunities for their continued artistic development.
With their sharp insight and vibrant creativity, these artists are redefining the possibilities of contemporary practice, and their future contributions are ones to watch.
